  • Evaluate existing designs and provide support in end-to-end fabrication and assembly of composite aircraft components on Boeing (737, 767, 777, etc.), Airbus, and Rolls-Royce productions.

  • Oversee the manufacturing process of composite parts for the largest engine in the world – UltraFan.

  • Lead research investigating the potential of using nanomaterials to enhance foams and potting compounds for manufacturing composite parts in the aircraft industry.

  • Communicate project updates at the regular team, department, and executive reviews.

  • Develop and maintain proper procedures for internally manufactured stock components, resulting in savings on both materials and labor.

  • Utilize SAP, Outlook, CATIA, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.

  • Proficient in Visual Management, Visual Factory, and 5S.

  • Coordinate with other engineers in the determination and development of materials, processes, specifications, and related documents to be used in fabrication, rework, and repair.

  • Worked on the process, fabrication, testing/characterization of boron nitride nanotubes (BNNTs) reinforced nanocomposites.

  • Worked on designing, installation, and implementation of chemical vapor deposition (CVD) system for synthesizing of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and graphene.
