I was born on 1978 in Rasht, Iran. The city is in south of Caspian Sea, with a green environment. Most days of the year, the sound of rain can be heard in the city that is why people called it “Baran” City. My parents are both educate persons and help me a lot to find my way in life. I passed my primary school in there with the best score that it is possible because of that I could participate in Exceptional talent exam for elementary school.
I passed the exam and enter to Mirza Kouchakkhan high school (Gifted Children). There I had the chance to compete with best students in whole county which helped me to improve my skills and knowledge. For high school entrance, we participated in another exam. After passing the exam, I attended in high school for four years and received my diploma in mathematics and physics.
For accepting in university, we should pass a big exam and compete with all students around the country. Here, top students can have the chance to go to high rank universities. I passed the exam with high score and accepted by the best engineering university in my country. Four years late, I graduated from Sharif University of technology in major of chemical engineering.
After my graduation, I served my two years mandatory military service in the Iranian Air force. Then after finishing it, I worked in the Renewable Energy Organization of Iran (SUNA) for six years. It was during this time which I became familiar with the areas of environmental and energy engineering. In SUNA, I worked in many projects which were related to the environment and renewable energy sources such as hydrogen production, photovoltaic, biofuel, recycling and waste management. Parallel with my work, I continued to serve as a trainer in computer software for the Azaran Communications Company.
After several years of working, I reach to a level that I wanted to complete my education. In 2009, I accepted to Linkoping University, Sweden. I have just completed my master’s degree in mechanical engineering with a minor in energy and environmental engineering. I was highly impressed by the environmental management and its vast applications in our world. My special interests developed in sustainability and resource management, renewable energies and life cycle of products. My master thesis was to study and identify the influential factors in long-term Product Service System (PSS) contracts.
The study consisted of literature review of understanding of six aspects of Economic, Environment, Legal, Organization, Social and Technology. Each aspect consisted of several influential factors. My passion for scientific research helped me to publish one article in international journal of Environment, Development and Sustainability journal in 2013 “Stand-alone PV-Hydrogen energy system in Taleghan-Iran using HOMER software: Optimization and techno-economic analysis”.
